What is the Digital Nomad Program?

This is a special visa program launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. It is aimed at qualified professionals from third countries who wish to legally work remotely while residing in the Czech Republic, without being employed by a Czech company.

Who is the program for?

  • Remote employees working for non-EU companies (especially in IT or digital services)
  • Freelancers or self-employed individuals providing services to international clients (e.g. software developers, UX/UI designers, digital marketers)


The program is currently available to citizens of the following countries:
Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Israel, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Chile, Colombia, South Korea, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Taiwan, Uruguay, and Japan.

  • Czech business address and proof of accommodation (we offer a virtual business address)
  • Minimum monthly income of 1.5× the Czech average salary (currently around 73 823 CZK per month)
